Hello
I need help coming up with a good name for my future Asura Revenant. I originally was going to name her “Abyx” (like the game controller buttons, A, B, X, Y) but the name was apparently taken, so I’m trying to come up with a new name for her so that I can claim it now and not have to worry about it later. So far, I’ve narrowed it down to two gaming-related names since I’m picturing her as an SAB fan girl, and they are; Terro (anagram for “retro”) and Shmup (SHoot ’eM UP) But I am open to suggestions on other names. So whatever name you can come up with, gaming-related or close to it, would be appreciated. Thank you

P.S. I am aware that female names usually end in vowels and males in consonants, but I’ll take whatever sounds the best. Plus, Moto seems to get by just fine. (ignoring Kudu)

Asurans often have double letters in their names

Yes, try variations like Abbyx or Abyyx or Abyxx, or change it up to Byxxa Byxa Bikksa Bikssa (to have the sound without using the exact letters) etc. Terro works quite well. You can also put in a title as part of the name.

And here i come to the rescue!
Asuras use their title as a second name, for example Infiltrator Kepp, Savant Shrodd, etc.
Abyx is a fine first name, all you need to do is add a second name.
This way, you could even name your asura after a very known name, such as Zojja or Keppa, while having an even more correct name.

A few examples (there are many job title lists on the web btw, just google it):
Apprentice Abyx
Savant Abyx
Peacemaker Abyx
Infiltrator Abyx
Revenant Abyx
any crafting profession Abyx
any of the three colleges’ disciplines Abyx

those are pretty awful titles to put behind a name, asurans used their accomplishments as their titles, and it wasn’t always prefixes like that, also asurans have no last names

I’d counsel against this. The OP is attempting something lore appropriate. An Asura wouldn’t use a Human hereditary title.

Though to answer your query, “Lady” is far more broadly applicable. People claiming higher level titles are in danger of accusations of trying to be special snowflakes. I think a Duchess moves more at the Ministerial level than in regular noble society.
