Guild Wars 2

Ive played GW2 since the second it was released, quit for a year, but im back now. SOOO Necro or mesmer? I have a lv 10 Necro, and a lv 3 mesmer, played them both a lot in PVP cant decide which one to “Main” any thoughts?

It really depends on what you like to play. I hear that Necro is better for PvE/WvW, while Mesmer is awesome for PvP. It really depends on your build though.
I’m personally working on making a Necro myself, and that would be my suggestion to you.

Actually it’s quite the opposite. Necro sits near the top in PvP whereas Mesmer always shines in PvE with all of the group utility it brings.

Personally, I main Necro because it’s the coolest in my opinion. I played Necro all through GW1 and I love it.

In PvE, Necromancer shines brightest through AoE condition bombing through the skill Epidemic.

Mesmer, like I mentioned, brings a lot to the party, more than Necro, and does decent damage as well.

The answer to this question will always come down to playstyle, so if youb have questions the Necromancer forum is a very advanced community in regards to Necro gameplay and there are a lot of helpful individuals there.

They do more upfront damage, generally, and as for fragility, near every class is more fragile then necro

I have both as my Main Classes.

I Like the Mesmer more, because it was my first class made. Excel in PvE and in sPvP. Lacks a bit in WvW.
I like the Necromancer, specially in WvW, but it’s pretty solid in PvE and in sPvP.

Its more Fragile only in that it has a lower base health than a Necro but then again so does a guardian…..

As long as you keep your distance a Mesmer can own the battlefield
