Guild Wars 2

So my friend got me one of those “Guild Wars 2 Emblem Shirts” that were distributed during the PAX convention. Now my question is in this official image from the website there seems to be a cool little skirt that I cant locate anywhere in game, and it seems to be a town clothing item. Any help is appreciated thanks

that looks like the normal town clothes skirt dyed yellowy orange.
toggle to your town clothes on the hero panel it is an icon at the top.

Oh no..you’re right -_- I think I deleted mine…. arghhh lol well thats that..gotta wait for a way to get my starter skirt back xD

I deleted mine on my main too but if you have an alt they should still have it, it is account bound and you can transfer it to the char you want

Just tried ‘soulbound to another character’

aww sorry about that- I was sure it would work since the caps and horns etc aren’t soulbound, never tried it with regular town clothes though

Try making a new character, putting the clothes in your bank, and deleting said new character.

I heard it worked too, but you reminded me to test it. I did, and unless there is some grace period you have to wait, it still says “soulbound to another character”.

They might say that but they might be withdraw-able.

The transmutation trick leaves the stuff soul bound but still able to be moved.

So give it a try!

I guess I should have added that it was ‘actually’ soulbound, meaning it won’t let me drag it out of the bank into my own inventory, nor from the bank to a waiting transmutation stone window. I can only destroy it (and it’s been several hours now, so it doesn’t seem like there’s any sort of “character delete soulbound converts to account bound” window.

Maybe the delete character trick works on other things, but not town clothes? Or maybe it just doesn’t work on those starter clothes?

At any rate, seems like it wouldn’t be too hard to sneak them into the store for a penny or two in the event you delete them. Or I read one person’s post where they put them all in the mystic forge to see what would happen.
