1. Do you have to complete the WvW maps to get 100%? If so, which ones?

2. If I do need to do that, how on earth am I going to do it if my world sucks at PvP?

1. Yes, you need Blue/Red/Green Borderlands and Eternal Battlegrounds.

2. Watch the map like a hawk, spread it out, come back at different times if something you need isn’t taken, take advantage of color changes from week to week.

1. Yes you do. You need to do the 3 borderlands and Eternal Battlegrounds.

2. Couple of ideas. You could transfer but that’s kinda expensive. You could rally the troops so to speak and either organise a world exploration/completion event or tag up and try leading people to get the bits you need.
Otherwise you may need to just wait it out and take bits gradually as you can. Check it whenever you logon to see what you own then jump in grab what you can and get out again.

it sucks that WvW maps are actually apart of tyria considering theyre supposedly the “mists” im buying my next legendary if I ever can be bothered to finish my first one

The WvW parts are doable over time, though frustrating if a gank squad goes out of its way to chase you down so you have to run all the way back to the vista multiple times (I speak from semi-bitter experience). The main thing on them from a PvEr’s pov is not to make them the last thing you need for completion. Any day you feel enough like it, check your world’s colors, see if you have access to the forts you still need, and go get those while you can. If you can clear WvW out of the way, then you can get back in control of your completion progress and choose which spot will be where you get your gold star.

You can keep an eye out for areas you need then pop in and grab them. You won’t need to be ingame to keep track of that one spot you want.
