First of all, I spent a pretty long time trying to figure out how that Black Lion Armor guy worked because he said he would exchange my town clothes. Which completely confused the hell out of me because my town clothes were gone after the game update.
My former town clothes allowed me to appear in normal town clothes without ever having to take off my gear. Like while in the city where I end up spending half the time because of the way the game is set up. Or into a small town in the outskirts where I could just fast-switch to town clothes on the fly.
After the big update, I encountered 2 problems:
1. I now have to take off all my weapons and armor off, and use up slots in my inventory/bank.
2. I now have absolutely nothing on but my underwear. wtf?
The only other choice other than that was to run around with all my gear showing even though I’m not out in the field. All because I don’t have any town clothes to cover it up.
After talking to many many players, they assured me that what the dyslexic Black Lion Armor guy meant to say is- “I’ll give you a tonic for every piece of town clothes you used to have.”
The good thing a player introduced me to was the “outfit” slot where you can wear an outfit on top of whatever gear you have on regardless of whether or not you’re in combat. This is great. That is how things should be.
OK so I did it the ‘exchange’ thing, and I get these 3 tonic things. But then the tonic says it only lasts 15min. This makes no sense so I haven’t consumed any of them. So by consuming a tonic, my character will appear in a full set of town clothes? So what happens after 15min?
What am I supposed to do?
What if I need them on less than 15min? Like for 2min?
What if I need them on more than 15min?
What if I need to switch more than 3 times? I have to keep buying tonics?
Or does the look I consume end up going into my list of outfits so I can put it on from there anytime?
