Trinity by itself is of course taken already, so I searched online for some last names and didn’t get anything useful. Anyone has any ideas? (the last name has to sound well with trinity or mean something).

Just use the different i’s, like ì, í, î, ï, or the y, ÿ those all work for character names

It’s hard to suggest names without knowing anything about the character. What works for a human would look very strange for a charr.

But as a general tip one thing I’ve found often works is to pick a word that you associate with the character – it can be anything, a colour, a personality trait, an object, and run it through online translators until you find a language where it looks good. Then use that.

My go-to languages are Welsh, Latin and Quenyan (you’ll need to look for separate translators for fictional languages obviously) but anything can work.

I generally like to use a prosaic name to counter an unusual one. So I’d go with Trinity Jones, assuming you have a female human.

But you want to have the last name mean something, or “sound well” which is subjective. So let’s see.

… and so on. I recommend that whatever word you pair “Trinity” with either avoid being 3 syllables or else have a different cadence to it or you will have something that evokes a sense of doggerel or silliness.

I love all these “Pick my name for me” threads, it’s the same with picking a domain name. The moment you search for it someone else is registering it.

Use a name generator.

Trinity is essentially the same as saying “the Third”. Good and Evil come in threes. We don’t know anything about your character so us randomly saying words isn’t going to help.

Trinity Patrik (has your account name so it means something to you).

Or Patrik Trinity. Name should mean something to you, not to others. If not your name added then something else that has meaning to you. Maybe make it relevant to your race and/or profession.
