Im on Fissure of Woe sigh and i have 3 level 80’s. Its really empty most of the time. I really enjoy WvW and dungeons but unfortunately Fissure Of Woe is one of the worst ranked servers on WvW. Im not willing to pay £15 to change server and I want to move to a server which has an okay WvW and good WvW guilds but no ques . I was wanting to know:
1.Should I change server?
2.What server should i changer to? (EU)

Hello there. I was going to suggest Vabbi (the server I am on) because the population is always high, but not very high so no ques. However I just looked at the WvW rankings and we are one under your current server (secretly plans to change this once she reaches level 80). But I think we are starting to take WvW more seriously but with out double checking I have no idea how many WvW guilds we currently have.

So yea it would be less empty but the WvW would probably take a while to improve.

Alternatively you could save your money and set up your own WvW guild on your current server. But without knowing the exact state of the population on your server I have no idea if this would work. It might even improve the WvW score for that server if successful though.

1. If you really want to/feel the need. As LeoWolfish pointed out you could always try and help organise your own WvW a bit more, be that by making a WvW guild or joining an existing one. Have you tried getting involved with your community site? http://fow.guildlaunch.com/

2. If you chose to move then I’d like to recommend Aurora Glade. We’re good fun, have a nice community to run with in WvW, and our queues are low to non-existent.

Come to Fort Aspenwood mate. We have tons of fun and I’ve never run in to a bad experience in PvE and WvW.

I originally played on Fissure of Woe, but as I live in the US and have bad internet, I took advantage of season 2 free transfers and transfered to Crystal Desert, which is a mid-tier silver server, and I’ve enjoyed wvw much more.

with that in mind, I would recommend one of the mid-tier servers. I have friends in Piken Square and it sounds nice there. For lack of much knowledge about EU servers, Aurora Glade I would recommend as well. Basically any of those servers in the middle there. If it’s the same in EU as it is in NA, you should have little to no queues (we have it right at reset on important matchups, but past that we have no queues), and you don’t have to worry quite as much about unbalanced matchups that seem extremely common in lower tiers.

I started on FoW, then moved with the guild to RoS, but when I started playing again after some months, I insta-transferred back to FoW.. “Home sweet home”, or something like that..

The questions you ask will guarantee yield feedback, but I think that you are the only person that can answer that first question: What exactly are you searching for in WvW? Group raids? Solo roaming? … ?
What would be the reason that you’d change the server, in the first place? The lack of people in WvW? The low rank? …

FoW is awesome for solo roaming, and if someone tags up you can get a little group running.. Combine that with a TS-server or something like that, and you can see some organisation on our server..
But, as stated, this requires indeed some active input. If you are looking to join a karma training server, I’m certain that lots of people can help you here..
