Alright, I’m having serious altoholic issues and I really need some help solving this…so I’ll need to throw out a few questions out there on what your ideas are on these thoughts.
But first, thanks for helping me out GW2 community

1. What’s a good class to main? In terms of wvw, pvp, pve?
(I’m mostly looking for a good class to use for basically…all 3…which has good mobility)
2. Most fun class to never regret maining?
3. Best features (in terms of legendaries and other aesthetics? (Note race too plz

Stupid question: Why do you need to decide on a main?

Personally, I have given up the idea of having a single “main” and play (and equip) whatever class(es) I feel like at the time. Fortunately, decent equipment isn’t all that hard to come by in this game, and I’d rather have a pool of fun characters with exotic equipment fit for whatever game mode I enjoy with that class than just one that I am stuck with even if I don’t enjoy because it’s the one that has all the legendaries and such (ok, I’m not anywhere near getting a legendary anyway ).

That said, thanks to ascended and legendary equipment being account-bound, it actually isn’t all that difficult to outfit different classes either. For example, I have a full set of ascended berserker accessories with agony resist that I transfer to any character about to do some serious dungeoning/fractals, as well as several pieces of ascended light armour that are shared between ele and mesmer.

So my choice would be: all of them! There’s nothing that puts me off a game easier than the feeling that I have to play just one of my countless alts because the rest is just not “good enough”.

Roll dice, flip a coin…or simply type /age (whatever your eldest alt is…then that’s your main).
You chose to buy the game…seems daft to ask people how you should play it.

ive had the same issues. i really like being a hunter/ranger type class but i guess ranger is really not good so im stuck between warrior and mesmer atm.

Why do you ask other people to tell you what you should like and dislike about this game? Try each of the professions, and decide for yourself which you like best.

You have five character slots. If you fill them all, you can either buy more in the gemstore, or delete a character to free up the slot for a new character.

I hate to be a jerk, but I have to agree with those above, though I have a few tips

1. if you’re planning on doing any organized group stuff in wvw, you probably don’t want to pick a ranger or engi, and probably not a thief either. they’re kinda the “left out” classes that don’t fit as good as other classes (if it weren’t for my guild liking me so much they would never have let me run with them on my ranger :P)

2. you said “Best mobility” so i’m assuming that’s what you’re looking for (you’re not giving me much to go off of :/) Warriors are popular for their mobility, but personally I don’t enjoy them because they just feel.. simple. I know mesmers have fairly low mobility, but past that most classes have certain builds that get around fast

(Note race too plz” no offence, but how are we supposed to answer that? that boils down to personal opinion. play the game, find what you like the most. just like I’m dead set on getting kudzu, you might want to get, say, xanthium, which neither longbow-wielding classes can use.

if you really want to get detailed information about classes and such, state what you enjoy doing and such. just saying “give me a class i’ll like” won’t help because every class is good in their own ways

1. Warrior, ele, or thief. all have good mobility, with warrior being ‘easiest’ mobility.

2. Its different for lots of people.. for instance, I still find warrior fun even after a year of playing it and am on it more than my Ele, despite having world completion & legendaries on both. though I would say most people find Ele to be the most fun class, including me. 3. Imo the best legendaries are Eternity and Incinerator, any class that can use them is probably best. Warrior/guard/ele/thief.. any one works.

Don’t need a Main…..Play ’em all!

Well thing is, ive already trie ALL the classes already, fully geared with all exotics and trinkets. Yes, the result of being am altoholic
But anyways, thank you all for your comments. You may not think it but these comments are very, very helpful to me

Play the game and naturally you will pick a main by really enjoying that character. For example I created a ranger and leveled him to 80 and then started an elementalist. I thought the ranger was my main but I loved the elementalist and he has become my main.
