Guild Wars 2

I confess i quit guild wars 2 2 months after it came out without giving it a fair shake i picked a class that did not agree with me. How are necromancers and elementalist in pve / pvp?? Does are the choices i decided on i would love to hear feedback on them from people who played them.

I have both, at 80.

Personally, I like the necro better, but there are quite a few people who don’t agree.

What profession was the one that didn’t “click”? Knowing that would help get you guided in the right direction.

I should also mention that you have 5 character slots, so you may as well use them. My biggest recommendation is that you stick it out with a profession until at least level 20-30. Most professions don’t really start to play the way they ultimately will until around that level.

Eles are good, for me anyway, when you unlock their utilities. i also prefer scepter+dagger for pve, as fire and earth provide TONNES of condition damage though bleeds and burning.
I think Necros are good for their conditionmancer side, and hate their minions (no offence to minion masters). make sure you try out ALL their weapons before you choose if you like or dislike them.
like Antitheist said, stick with both of them until lvl 20-30, or until you decide which you like, otherwise you could be missing out on the best parts.
