Hi guys (for those who don’t want to read all this, I have the problem in small topic at the end, but if you really want to help, please read everything)
Once again this, I swear, someday i just get rid of 2 of my 3 characters and focus on the one thats left, I’m kinda done with this indecition on my main. The thing is I really need to have 1 main, because if I don’t, I can’t save money since I’ll be allways buying new gear for each character, and I will allways be switching specific materials from certain patchs. For example, with SAP I’m constantly swiching Boubles from one to other to be able to buy the upgrades for each character (Yes I’ve spend the hole month in SAP)
So I have to promise this will be my last call on this, and I will call the 2 classes that I love the most (my third character will stay neutral on this as I have lost interest in the class, and only play it because I can use GS and S, it’s a Guardian) Elementalist and Thief
From these 2, thief is my newest, just made it couple of months ago, or a bit less, and it is now by far the most complete character that I have. I have 1 crafting profession at maximum, i have all the 8 Story dgn’s done with him and I only have 2 Exotic Trinkets (back and 1 ring) and I haven’t done any Fractals. Also have the gemstore pick and the gemstore axe, which I kinda regret of buying, because they are great but if I end up with not getting the Thief as main I will feel like I waste my money. My problem with the class is that i’m having a really hard time matering the class. in WvW I almost lose every match in 1vs1 and 2vs1 (this, if they are both at 80 I don’t even try) and in PvE, most of the times I run CoF so, no problem with that dgn, but i’m afraid of how it will be when I want to try other dgn’s or Fractals.
With Elementalist I have some other problems, my favourite weapons are D/D and Staff, I’ve tryed Scepter, but I can’t like it, but right now I only have build for Staff, but even with Staff I have some problems. Before I was using a set that I have though my self and was already getting some ascended items for it, but recently I’ve changed my build for a Support/Zerg Role and now I’m full Exotic only, I have 3 Ascended items that are useless unless I found or think of a new build where I can use them (It’s 1 Amulet and 2 Acessories Ascended, Knight Status). With Elementalist I never have to much strugle with it, since most of the time I’ve used Staff which is the easiest weapon that Elementalits have but it’s also my favourite, but with D/D I also haven’t find any problem, at least in PvE. I also have the Phoenix armor set, so with Elementalist i kinda have the same feel with the Thief, If I don’t go with it i feel like I’ve wasted money (because, since I can’t gather to much gold, all the Gems that I ever had where bought with real money), but with the Thief is wordt because the infinite gathering tools are just so good. I just don’t like why they have to be soulbound and not accountbound as all the gathering tools. Also with my Elementalist i have some Fractals done, but I don’t have any of the crafting profession mastered and I also have HotW Story to do.
I think I can have a bit more fun when playing with my Elementalist but I think my Thief is going so perfectly that i allways feel sorry for leaving the character.

-> Can’t decide between Thief and Elementalist
-> Can’t master Thief, but is the most complete character in Gear and progression. I think I can master Elementalist but haven’t played in quite a while and have a lot to do compared to the Thief
-> Both have gemstore Items, but the Thief ones are the most “important”
-> I have fun with both, but I don’t want to ruin others experience so I think mastering a class is really important
