Need help with ch 2 of HoT story
I had this problem too – I completed ‘Torn from the Sky’ and went back to Silverwastes instead of Verdant brink. There is a portal to verdant brink at the back of Amber Sandfall, but it wouldn’t let me through, giving me a message saying I needed glider mastery to continue the story.
The trick is to run another character, make sure to exit to VERDANT BRINK after Torn from the Sky, then run around until you’ve unlocked glider mastery (masteries are account-wide). Then go back to your main and you should be able to enter Verdant Brink.

i dont have another 80 though, is there another way?
Not that I know of. If you have a ‘teleport to friend’ from a bl chest you might try using that. Are you getting the same message about needing glider mastery first?

Wait, try going to hero panel and replaying the story – that might give the option to enter Verdant Brink again. Writing up a report now

The item is called ‘teleport to friend,’ but now that I check the gem store it doesn’t look like you can buy it :-( It’s only available as a drop from black lion chests.

nah i dont my next is around 15, once thing i was thinking about is if someoen has another 80 and goes in with me in party can i join with them?
That might be something to try, but it seems like I heard that partying up doesn’t work on the prologue…

I had this too. Someone on the mapchat advised me to portal out of the area and walk back. The portal to Verdant Brink was available then. I don’t know about the mastery though. This was my second character.
