ok, I love the game, but can not figure out how to turn raw wood into planks to start making a wooden sword! What do I need to do/learn to start transforming some of the raw materials I have into useable stuff like planks and copper bars?

Hit your recipe tab …. Or double click the forge …. Then look for Refinement —- the logs and planks should be in there. You need to refine the raw wood before you can make a plank.

If nothing shows up in the recipe list it may be because you haven’t declared weapon smith as a profession yet … If not, go talk to the npc …. Typically by the forge itself.

ok I see it on the refinement screen on my crafting tab, but how do I actually turn the raw wood into planks? there is no option to actually do it. how do I refine the wood?

ok, got it now, have to actually be at the crafting table, not just in the tab on the hero screen.
