Guild Wars 2

Hello guys
I just got guild wars 2 about 4 days ago and need help making a fun character. I have tried a human warrior and a norn guardian and they are both pretty boring. Could you guys please suggest some classes that you guys find were pretty fun to play as.

This is generally good advice. Create the character, get through the tutorial, and then hit the little crossed-swords icon in the upper-left of the screen. This will let you go to the Mists, and here you can fight easy NPCs, play around with all of your traits, and explore builds, animation styles, and the like with characters. I did this to help decide which classes I thought I might like to play first and which races’ animations I liked best for some of those classes.

Try out different races and different classes in combinations. It will get a little old doing the tutorial bits over and over, but the character creation will help you get an idea of what kinds of things your character will be doing in the earlier personal story sections and what it’s like for that race’s perspective, as well.

I could give you thoughts on what I personally think are more enjoyable things to play, but there’s really no guarantee that’ll be helpful or applicable to you at all.

If it makes it interesting for you, you can come up with a backstory for you character for yourself. Like for example, your Sylvari is an engineer because he is curious about technology and stuff, and he traveled to other towns to learn it.

make a skinny sylvari ranger with squinty eyes and long ears black hair and some sort of awesome looking glowy color.

Overall the Sylvari are one of the most fun races to play.

Fun professions are:
ranger
elementalist
mesmer

all my personal opinion ofcourse.

Guardian, Mesmer, Thief. Make sure you take some time to pick a server. That was the hard part imo
