Guild Wars 2

Sup homies! just bought GW2 HoT a while back. Need some leveling guides where i can still follow the story line from the beginning. BTW i have that lvl 80 boost but ofc i still wanna learn the basics of the game before using it and lastly what would be a nice beginner profession that you would recommend and maybe some build guides too. You really have several options and can pick whichever way you like most. Personally I like to level up new class slowly and not to rush through the game.

If you have personal story pointing you somewhere, go and follow it. You should be able to finish fights within the story even if some may be difficult at first try. Finish the starter map near your race capital (completing a map means you visit all the pois, vistas and hearts). At some point you should level up enough so you can continue with personal story again. If next map starts to feel difficult, you can always go to other starter areas near other race capitals through Lions Arch.

Other then that, if there is event nearby – try to complete it, if stuff is on the ground – pick it up. Don’t bother upgrading your equipment too much, you will get some items from doing the story plus random drops that should be enough up to level 60+.
