Need some advice at champion(farming)
If that’s your first character (LVL 40) then 15 gold isn’t bad at all.
I wouldn’t waste time worrying about the Monthly Achievment as doing the Daily every day (or at least 3 times a week) should get you pretty closed to Monthly completion by the 3rd week (or earlier). Might want to keep an eye on it and put some effort into it by week 4 if not completed yet, but there is NO reason to rush getting it completed.
Champ farming in Frostgorge is much better than Queensdale, but you need to be at LEAST LVL 70 to venture into that zone (you could be 60 if you are partied with some LVL 80s that know you are under leveled and don’t mind rezing you).
Not sure about the World Events as the only one I do regularlly is Claw of Jormag (in Frostgorge while I’m Champ Training and collecting T6 mats).
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances
There are plenty method of farming gold in this game, but since you are asking for the “champion” or boss events, I try to cover only that aspect.
There is the Fire Elemental (Metrica Province), you might have to use the guesting system since not all servers are doing this event.
There are some other events but I think it’s higher level. http://gw2stuff.com take a look at this page. It lists the current and upcoming events for the specific zones/maps. Make sure you’re selecting the server at the top of the page.
When it comes to the chests those are only available once per day per character (big chest/boss loot chest). The daily bonus chests (little chests on your screen) are only available once per day. That means you can get the big chest more than once a day, if you have more than one character.
The Queensdale Champ Train gives you around 30 – 50g but this means, that at your level it will be time consuming. Increasing your Magic Find (account) plus food and guild banners, gives you another chance when collecting your loot. There are two ways of accomplishing that goal.
1) salvage everything and sell the mats on the trading post (exotics excluded) check the trading post first if you plan on doing this method. Prices of mats vary everyday and at times you can just hold on to them till the prices go back up.
2) sell everything (white items excluded) on the trading post. This method is probability more relay able for you, but it will take some days till everything sells.
Another train is the one in Frostgorge, however you have to be level 75+ if you plan on joining them. You make more money that way and it’s faster but sadly not for your current level.
If you’re in a guild/faction, take a look at lower level instances (Ascalonian Catacombs and Caudecus’s Manor or Twilight Arbor at level 50? I believe) You can make more money from instances than from the champ trains and maybe that’s something you enjoy as well. I wouldn’t recommend using the LFG tool and joining so called pug groups, at your level you are most likely not taken to any of the instances.
