I started going for ascended armor a while back, and now im at 18 bolt of damask to to finish the set. i started crafting cause i liked the look and not because of the stats.

im now starting to think to quit the craft and sell all of them to gear my alt toons to the builds i want to. but what are the chances they increase fractal lvls and ascended armor is required to go higher? and i do like to do fractals im currently at lvl 42

Besides the looks.
If you like fractals, get the gear
If you don’t like fractals don’t bother.

The amount of effort (as you are seeing) is a lot, the reward outside fractals is a little over 5% increase on armor and stats. so the effort/reward ratio is off there in my opinion. The only benefit is the infusions slot to get higher AR. As I understand, even at the now highest level, having AR on all your equipment helps a lot, so if they open up more levels (and I think they will) it will really start to matter.

Alright i think i finish it up, since the chance on increased fractals lvl is getting higher i think the rewards will also be better. now to choose on guard or warrior :P

I would wait until the feature patch on March 18th, maybe we get some changes to ascended gear to make it more useful, like unlockable stat combos. One can only hope.

i dont think they make ascended stats swichtable they dont have the same prestige as a legendary do.
