Hello guys,

My charr warrior is almost lvl 80, and its time to gear it up, and buy some dyes for him, but i’m not sure which im gonna buy, so do you guys have any ideas? Please list all the awesome dyes, which would fit a charr warrior with t3 + arah.

Abyss is ofc a very awesome dye, but i got the abyss on my thief and my human warrior.. sadly i found the human warrior boring, and only the arah set fits the human, thats why i rerolled it..
in the long run, having 3 dyes is lots of gold spent on dyes..

Midnight Ice is probably a better looking black dye than Abyss, and though it is getting more expensive, it’s generally much cheaper than Abyss.

Maroon, Heirloom, and Black Cherry are also very good looking red dyes, and usually cheaper than the Blood dye.

Blue Ice is considered by many to be the best looking white dye, and it’s usually very, very cheap compared to the rare white dyes.

Illumination is a very good looking substitute for gold or yellow dyes.

I find the number of characters donning Abyss and Celestial dyes dreadfully dull. I can’t believe I’m about to suggest you be unique in choosing metallic colors (silver, iron, gunmetal, bronze, tin, etc) for your warrior’s armor, as you’d think those colors would be commonplace for heavy armor, but there it is…

I’m just a bit frustrated cause of the abyss dye on my human warrior.. i feel like its a completely waste now, since i wont play on it anymore most likely..

Also i started having my doubts about if i should stay with my human warrior, but then i got away from it :P
I wanted to stay with my human warrior cause of the abyss dye, and i decided not to stay because of its boring cultural, and just armor sets in general..

Sometimes it just helps to pick a theme. For example, my charr warrior’s color scheme is based around different shades of blue. I’ve got something like 6-7 rare blue dyes and tons of common / uncommon ones. After I finally got enough colors, I found that right combination of dyes and I stopped experimenting with my color scheme.

While we can all suggest different things, it also doesn’t hurt to just collect dyes and fiddle with things. For a charr, a color scheme that blended 3-4 shades of red together could look nice. Really any color would do. If you’re trying to avoid that hordes of people who are using black and white shades of colors, a unified color theme is always available.
