I am currently working on my underwater weapon mastery so i need some recommendation on a good location to train it. Someplace with lots of ambient creatures or low level mob.

Also, which class is best for “mastering” the respective underwater weapons? Harpoon, speargun and trident.

I’ve mastered none of them, so I’m not sure. No one profession can use all three anyway, you’ll need at least two.

For training the weapons, try the lake east of the Shaemoor Garrison. Tons of low level drakes and barracudas. Just don’t go while the daily is aquatic kills, you’ll have competition. A little higher level, you can go to Triskel Quay for krait, thundershrimp, and some hermit crabs.

Lake Adorea in Plains of Ashford is pretty good for that. Low level and decent mob density.

For spear I would go with guardian.
For trident I would go with mesmer or necromancer.
For speargun either thief or engineer.

However, since it is a low level area it doesn’t really matter. Guardian for spear is simply because skill 1 has longer range.

The lake on the west side of Diessa Plateau is also pretty nice due to scaling. Although that might not be the whole lake.
