So i am leveling up a warrior, going to go with a rifle..maybe some day…Predator!!

My problem is…i just can’t see a sniper, essentialy, wearing 100+ pounds of metal and trying to get into a posistion to pick somebody off…just doesn’t make sense.

So i have looked…there is no heavy mask..unless you count those mardi-gras looking things on BLTC..and no…just no.

The set i have become most happy with so far, by looking it up, is the Heavy Armor set from the Vigil..which is good cause i have not done that story line yet.

The splint male isnt bad either…or the Honor of the Waves set..but that’s dungeons…and I don’t think i will be welcomed there to much with out my GS with me..so maybe.

Any suggestions? Links would be most helpful…if not i can try to find stuff.

Thanks in advance!

If you go to a dungeon using rifle as your main weapon you will be kicked.

If you go to PvP using rifle as your main weapon you will be stomped.

Just wanted to give you a warning… If you want to play with rifle as main weapon, go engineer. Will also solve your sniper attire problem.

Well no one is going to stop you from mixing and matching armor . Less noise would probably mean things like pit fighter Duelist or Kodan since they primarily seem to be leather based .

As Tom said, a warrior who is afraid of melee is a warrior who has little to offer in game. Riffle is very nice on a warrior as a secondary weapon. So in those cases melee range is too dangerous, but melee attack are so much more powerfull, if you can stand the heat stay in the kitchen

Off course, using a riffle in your main slot and having that up at idle times and changing to you melee weapon when needed is perfectly ok.

For armor, also consider top hide your head piece. I dislike heavy armor helmets, but I don’t feel im missing it when im hiding mine.

Maybe have a look in this short thread, not sure how well these would look on human armour. Just food for thought.
