Need your opinion! Warrior or Guardian?
Dont know for PvP/WvWvW, but for dungeons I can tell a few things, so you can make up your mind. Guardian can be a great support in dungeons, you have skills which gives damage taken reductions, have shield en spectral weapons for protection, so you can be sort of a ‘tank’, without keeping the aggro and stuff. Hammer skills are great for cc, you’ll hit multiple targets with just the auto attack and you can deal a great amount of damage and you can do some good dps with sword, torch and greatsword.
The tanking aspect of the warrior can be combined with CC to give both an iron defense and excellent domination in dungeon battles. For this reason, mace and shield are used with the hammer as second weapon. Other defencive ways to play is with Hammer, using the shout skills. And you can choose to hack nd slash with a greatsword for some good DPS.
Others will think differently about this I think, but okay. I hope you find this usefull.

So what u suggest?
I play guardian so I suggest a guardian. But in the end, you have to decide for yourself. Look on the internet for warr/guard builds, might give you more info

I leveled a guardian to 80 then rolled warrior after a dungeon or two. He is also now 80.
From my experience guardian will get a lot of aggro (due to the class mechanic) and therefore you must build them with a reasonably high amount of defence. Then I found my damage was poo so i ended up going to an altruistic healing/support build. This was great for support but I just couldnt really see the impact I was having on the team because its subtle shields, heals etc The team just stays alive for longer.
With warrior I have found he can stay alive for a while due to high health pool and deals a lot of damage. spec warhorn and use shouts for support too.
So basically guardian if you wanna purely support people and warrior for damage+support.
my 2 cents on pve
guardians ranged attack isn’t that great, so if you, like me, prefer to be able to switch between ranged and melee, you’d be better off with a warrior. other than that, level both to lvl 10-15 and get a feel for the class. until then you should be able to see the general class mechanics and have a peek at their respective traits.
I’ve only leveled warrior and ele to 80 but I think they both still feel very similar to their early stages – except more versatile.
for wvw I’d recommend warrior, because it seems much easier to get badges with him than with the support-oriented classes/builds. also his several stun-abilities are great for chasing down enemies ;-)
