New Allienware 15 any good?
Should have no problems running GW2 more than well, just make sure you have an SSD harddrive built in for faster map loading times.
If I were you, I would also check other notebook retailers in your area, chances are good they offer similar deals for a better price.
On a side note- I doubt that playing with a gaming laptop on the sofa will be any fun, but that’s your buisness

I am also checking retailers around me, but since I have no idea about computers, it is difficult to decide what is best.
Re the sofa, after a long work day is either sofa playing or no playing at all xD so I guess is fun enough haha
Thanks for the response btw
I would personally wait. The new 1070 and 1080 are coming out soon and are going to blow even the current Titan X out of the water for roughly half that price too. I can’t be sure of your situation but I would highly recommend you wait and purchase a computer with one of the new cards when they come out.
Just take that as a side note. Regarding your question, I can’t speak for Alienware hardware but the specs are on par to play GW2 at max settings. Some situations in WvW will still cause major fps loss or latency but there isn’t much we can do about that.

They won’t see much improvement, if any, by going to a higher graphics card. GW2 is very CPU intensive and that is the bottleneck most of the time.
I know CPU is the bottleneck. But I am inquiring about the broader picture. Assuming you play any other game than Guild Wars 2, I simply recommend waiting.

Thanks for the advise Famine and Ayrilana! I actually only play GW2 no time for more games unfortunately.
But I will probably wait and see what they come out with, because I am not such a rush anyway.

Which is good advice if the OP wasn’t asking for opinions on a laptop.
