New Laptop
On minimum it’ll be playable at a decent framerate (minimum 30fps at all times), but you’ll simply not want to have it on medium. It’s a laptop, these things are simply not meant for anything but very casual gaming.
Please tell me why you prefer a laptop over a decent PC. Unless you travel on a regular basis (business trips, school, frequent flyer,…), there’s no good reason to have a laptop for gaming.

You can use the following two links to compare performance. Unfortunately you didn’t give enough info about the two CPUs.

GPU – http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html
It appears that the 5650 is the faster of the two GPUs

It’s not so much that I prefer, but currently it’s a lot easier for me, allows me to bring my comp to work and friends. Also lack a monitor, and keyboard(can go without speakers got a decent headset) and I have no idea how to build a pc. And I used that site looking at the gpu, and 330m was actually expected to get better fps than 5650 despite the 5650 being a better card overall. My old lappy was lucky to hit constant 30 and everything was minimum or off, usually closer to 15. Also currently if I had a pc I would have no foot space left where I’m at :P
