Guild Wars 2

I just bought this game today and i am looking for a guild/clan (not sure what they are called here), to join and learn the game with. Also some choices in servers or classes would be great as well. I am seeking a class that can handle solo content very well and can still get into groups. I don’t know much about the game other then a few videos i watched.

Server only really matter for WvW because GW use mega server system for PvE where all player from different server play together. If interest in WvW here is list of WvW server rank but top server will be full and can not join.

For find guild there is section in this forum where people advertise guild.

You can be in up to 5 guild so you can look around careful to find right guild for you.

All profession good at solo PvE so depend what you find fun. Many people play Warrior or Guardian to start why they learn game because more easy when new to game.

Last this sticky thread is old and some information not the same because game change some but still helpful.

One other site that I use for figuring things out when I am stumped is http://dulfy.net/
One time the Devs were asked if they ever put “easter eggs” into the game for people to find, they said that yes they did but Dulfy was on the ball and would find them fast for everyone, lol. They were fine with that.

There’s also a HUGE thread that you can poke through that Gaile Gray started up not too long ago that encouraged guilds to make a post to introduce themselves – their size, when they play, what game modes they play the most, etc…
