Guild Wars 2

Hey guys
So recently one of my characters made 1 year, so I got the lvl up boost that gets your character up to 20. With this I decided to do a new alt and get it to 80 but I can’t decide between 2 characters:

Norn Ranger or Char Warrior

Now, I know somethings about Warrior and Ranger is almost completly new to me, so I wanted to base my choice in the lore of both races and if both classes fit the race in lore.
What I can see is that they fit since both herous from those races are those classes but still I would like to hear about someone who have already played with these races (I have done almost every story option with the charr till lvl 16, never made 1 norn)

Also, is Ranger difficult to lvl up/master? I know Warrior isn’t so that why I’m asking about the Ranger. I already have Guardian as almost main and I know how easy the class is, and because of that I think I get the feel of need to change so many times

Race/lore wise, they’re both right on.

As for leveling, they’re both incredibly easy. Probably the 2 easiest. Ranger’s pet is a huge boon in open world, and warriors can easily just equip 5 sigils and boringly GS thru Tyria.

By endgame, you’re going to find everyone agrees that warriors are king of the dungeons, while ranger’s pet makes them more difficult to use properly. But that kind of stuff changes every patch (although the general concensus of pet liability and warrior dps hasn’t altered much in the last 6+ months). Both classes can bring some great team utility.

Ultimately, it comes down to what you like best, and which is more fun. Since you have a guardian, I’d recommend ranger, if only for a change from heavy-armor melee action. Plus, it lets you experience the norn storyline. And pet hunting is fun. Just wandering around Tyria looking for all the various pets to charm I gained like….6 levels easy.

Right what I needed
Well Norn Ranger here we go, I just hope I like the bows (I kinda like the style but never played much, except with my first experience with MMO’s, in my first MMORPG I used an Archer and i really liked it, too bad the class was kinda broken in the game and did not really worked in PvE, and to get to PvP we need to go trough PvE)

I love my norn ranger! Lore wise I also went with the Vigil for her order, it fits really nice
