I just got the game, and trying to choose which server is good for a new player. Been searching for similar topics and still can’t choose. I was thinking about Jade Quarry, Yaks Bend or Fort Aspenwood. Any advice?

More or less, every server is good for new players because of the Megaserver system, which makes all servers (in PvE) like one. You will pretty much always see full maps with this system, which is pretty neat!
Now, I can’t tell you which NA server is the best choice as I am EU, but my suggestion would be to always choose a server which is decent at WvW, so that if you’ll want to finish map one day, you’ll have to desperate much less, if you are on a strong server with high WvW population!

What Silvia said pretty much. Server doesn’t matter for PvE, PvP, it’s only WvW where selection is important.

Jade Quarry is tier one and has good all round coverage so you can find fights any time of day.

FA and YB are tier 2 servers, they are well populated and also have good fights but less coverage than JQ. So its worth investigating if they are quiet at the times you are looking to log on.

Technically the megaserver should lean towards mixing you with your own home server people. It doesn’t, all that much. However, I bring it up because if you want a better chance of stumbling onto RP you’ll want to try to get on Tarnished Coast (which is also pretty good at WvW).
