It would help if you include what region you are looking to play in, Na or Eu.

If you are an Eu player I would suggest Underworld, we recently lost a lot of large guilds from the World vs World side of the game and could use the help regaining our former seat of…mild power.

If you are an Na player I would recommend Underworld, we could always use some players to take keeps while we sleep!

On a more serious note you can ‘guest’ to any server for all aspects of the game except World vs World so I wouldn’t worry too much about which you pick.

It depends on what you want to do. If you’re PvE only, any server will be fine. If you roleplay, Tarnished Coast. If you WvW, I suggest Borlis Pass because we’re awesome.

omg a brolis from the pass! yes! BP if you check the wvw standings is sitting in the middle of all the servers. we have some stellar small roaming guilds as well as primetime zerg busters. the Q time for wvw isnt horrific compared to most others above us in the standings (they only win cuz of numbers, not heart). for pvp, def brolis pass. once you pass there is no going back. (shut up that is totally going to be a thing now)

Crystal Desert contains few enough good guilds that smaller units of good players can make a very noticeable impact on score. But the few large ones there are are large and rich enough to afford 6x Omega SMC rushes, so you also get the chance to get map completions/SMC captures.

And I’ve NEVER been placed into an overflow or a queue in WvW in CD.

Just be warned that the side effect of being able to make a difference is that worlds like Borlis Pass and Fort Aspenwood routinely run zergs 3-14x our size over our groups, and even if you kill 2-3 attackers for every one defender (which happens all the time) you’ll still end up pretty dead, so prepare to spam AoE loot every time you get a kill.

It’s been fun before when soloing camps and having a 50 man zerg come after me. Even more fun if the front runners suck and I get to port away without dying.
