Hey folks,

I’ve been a player since the 2012, but had to leave the game due to time constraints. I’m looking to get back into the game, this time to explore raiding content. I’m turning to raids as my next stop, as I’ve just about completed content for my guardian in a few other areas, and would like to start working towards legendary armor.

I’m not really sure where to start with raids, so I’m asking you, the player base, to send some guidance my way. Here are some specifics to get started, but if you have other advice, feel free to share!

1) I main a guardian, any recommendations for builds besides zerk dragon hunter with utilities of 2 traps/power insignia? (found this on meta battle)
2) Should I get all the other HoT masteries first?
3) What raid wing should I start with (does it matter)?
4) Food?
5) Any good ways to find raiding friends/squads/guilds?
6) Any recommendations to becoming a better player? (i.e. modifying controls, learning dodging mechanics, recommended voice chat)

Also, let me know if I should switch classes, as I currently have level 80s of zerk ele, condi necro, zerk warrior, and zerk thief. I’m not sure which is preferred meta, but I’m a fan of my guardian.

See you in the Mists,
Chance

P.S. I’ll be looking for a new guild/friends, so send me a message!

1) i dont know much about guard so ill leave that so someone els
2) you dont need them really EDIT: i just rememberet that you do need some like updrafts and bounching mushies^_^(for some of them not all)
3) id say spirit vale and do the vale guardian he not to hard
4) yes you might want to look up metabuilds on google to see what gear, food, traits you need
5) id say start by just useing the group finder tool (look for a traning group)
6) yeah you are gonna need dodgeing and knowing where you need to be, you should also get use to useing the special action key since it can be needed
so i think you should go watch some youtube vids of vale guardian, mursaat overseer, gorseval, and samarog they are the easyest ones that i know of.

best of luck and have fun
