Just started leveling. Don’t mind questing, but is there a way to speed it up? Trying to get 80 before xpac

It is very likely that you’ll be level 80 before the expansion, no mater or what.

BUT if you really want to rush to lvl 80, go to the Edge of the Mists, it is a WvW map that doesn’t count towards the weekly points, there people usually run as a big group doing the events of the map, you get a good amount of xp, and karma and wxp in the process.

I usually don’t recommend this for people leveling their 1st character, since doing this you’ll have a lvl 80 toon with most maps closed, no knowledge of some monster mechanics and even your own class mechanics, among several other issues, but since you want just to get lvl 80 before xpac, that is the fastest way I can imagine.

Is there a way to get exp buff for crafting, and questing? But I do like questing, just like a break sometimes. Thx for the wvw tip.

So what is the reason for rushing to 80? Hate to say it – but you’re most likely ruining the experience for yourself by doing so since this game (unlike some others) starts at level 1 and not level cap.

What, you think the expansion is dropping soon? I’m still betting the third year anniversary. If you play a few hours a night you’ll hit 80 within a month if not sooner.

I just got my friend convinced to try the game so I’ll be helping him level. Just enjoy clearing maps for now: you will be 80 in no time. It’s really not hard to hit 80 in this game and you’ll be there before you know it.

Also, It’s exponentially better to map and do stuff with other people. I can not stand mapping unless I’m with someone else
