Hey all, I’m a returning player based in Crystal Desert. I’ve started just over a week ago and my old guild is now empty. Not to mention that I’ve noticed that the “older areas” such as Orr seem to be empty ghost towns now.

I’m thinking of moving to a more populated server where there’s more people wandering around. Any suggestions?

In PvE, everyone’s on the same “world” now, it’s called a megaserver. Crystal Desert is your WvW world.

You can try the LFG if you want to do meta events, world bosses, hero challenges, farming, etc. People tend to stack maps.

Orr isn’t fun to play in so few go there once they get their karma armor skins for the first time and finish the personal story.

Also, Orr was gutted of mobs, and other changes were made to make it a very pale imitation of its former self .. and I don’t think the Temples are ever contested or the statues active anywhere.

I once thought Cursed Shore was one of the best ‘end-game’ zones in MMOs due to its ambiance and sense of danger, now it’s no harder to go through that the level 1 zones.
