Guild Wars 2

Afternoon all!

I have recently been watching some Twitch feeds and become really interested in GW2. I played way back in release but the friends I played with gave up and eventually so did I.

A little about me: I’m soon to be 22, I live in the UK, I’m all about team work & playing with people – MMO is just built for it!

I’m looking to play WvW/PvP but will of course play some PvE and experience as much of the game as possible.

I have MMO experience from WoW, it’s becoming quite stale and it is so limited based on your gear or experience that it becomes boring. However, I am highly experienced & geared in WoW – I just don’t enjoy it’s kind right now!

I’m wondering:
Best or most active EU home world?
Any guilds that are recruiting and would take on a newbie to GW2?
Any new players also looking to start out? Could level together

All of them to an extent. I’d say anything below rank 18 and you’ll be finding less people in WvW (note I don’t mean dead I just mean fewer people). On that note I think you should join Aurora Glade :-P

If you need any advice when starting out then message me in game and I’ll see what I can do.

OP is going to run into the ever pressent issue of getting into the Servers he is wanting to join. All the top tier WvW servers (both EU and NA) are FULL 24/7 and getting into them is massively frustrating (if it’s even possible in a practical sense).

I would suggest you lower your expectations and find a mid level tier WvW server that has room in it (but I can understand if the OP is resigned to only trying for the top tier Servers).
