Guild Wars 2

Hey guys. I have my main which is my Mesmer. I was looking at the other professions and I wanted to roll something that feels different to the Mesmer. What’s everyone’s favourite profession and why?

I have a thief as my main right now.
Thieves are enjoyable if you like constantly moving during battle trying to avoid attacks while also maintaining melee distance.
My only issue with my thief was that I felt he was a bit squishy for pve and didn’t do enough damage/has no boons to compensate.
At the moment I too am looking for a new class to play, I was thinking warrior, but not sure yet

Completely different experience? Warriors… kinda liberating to… not dodge, kite, move so much all the time (my transition was from Necro to Warrior).

Thiefs have a “mana” type of gameplay (you need initiative to cast some weapons skills, which regenerates over time)

Engis are a multi class on themselves, kits completely change play style, from ranged grenadier to a melee “tool” user or support… gets kinda crazy.

Eles are very versatile too, each attunement (you have 4) changes your weapon skills to burst damage, support, conditions/control which make for interesting combos if you can master the switching.
