Are they viable?

As in 20/20/10/10/10 elementalist for example.
If it’s viable in other prof’s I’ll be happy to hear.

My ranger for example use 20/20/20/10/0 build and I’m very happy with it, it is an Open World/Dungeon PvE build but can handle fine in WvW.

Eles have many good Master traits, so a build that doesn’t use grandmaster traits is totally possible.

(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)

Ranger is probably one of the best examples of a quality (for a Ranger) non GM build. Engineers can pack a punch without a GM trait as well.

It depends on the build. If no GMs make sense, then why force one?
