When I was working toward getting 100% world completion with my first level 80 it was possible to activate places of power (skill challenges) while in the downed state. I always thought this was really cool, especially in Orr where there could be a very heavily contested skill point that you had no reason to believe would be opened up any time soon, you could just do a suicide run a grab it real quick. But as I was leveling up my engineer I was having a hard time getting to a place of power and so when I decided to do a suicide run I couldn’t click on it. Why would they take this away?

I never noticed that it was possible at the first place, but I think it would be a serious oversight. When downed your supposed to be downed. The whole purpose of these challenges is that they are challenging.

If this was changed, it should have been (in my opinion). You should not be able to activate anything from a downed state.
