How come I rarely see any players in Queen’s Dale or Divinity’s reach? where is everyone?

What server are you on?

Queens Dale is low level starting zone, high level player dont come back those places unless they are farming champs and world boss on. Divintys Reach Iis human world and theres not much going there as of now. People are doing high level stuffs: wvw, champ farms in FS, dungeons, pvp, etc……

On my server (Desolation) Queensdale is one of the most populated zones because it’s got a very simple champion farm. But I’m not sure if that’s popular on all servers, I know some people prefer to go to Frostgorge or Orr if they’re going to farm champions.

Other than that spread across the world in general, in WvW and PvP or quite likely at the moment all in LA to do the new Fractals.

Queensdale on my server (Yak’s Bend) regularly has overflows on the weekends (peak times) and I’ve NEVER been in Divinity’s Reach and not seen multiple players near the bank area (even at 4AM CST US).

Queensdale is Champ Train central for sub-80 level characters, so I don’t know what to tell you.

Most main cities are pretty empty because there’s really nothing to do on them except for the crafting stations, bank and TP, but everyone goes to Lion’s Arch for those instead (divinity’s reach was packed with people a couple months ago when they had the queen’s jubilee there, though, as is Rata Sum when the SAB is active).

Queensdale usually has lots of people playing on it but doing the champion farm, which you probably won’t see unless you’re on one of the waypoints of it.
