For melee weapons, if there an easy way to auto-run/chase and auto-attack a ranged mob that keep running away. I find using the AWD keys to chase and left-click to start auto-attack rather troublesome.

With ranged weapon, I can just left-click and auto-attack tracks and keep up the attacks. If mob runs too far away, I just move forward a bit and auto-attack auto-starts. So much easier.

you could press r for auto run and just change directions when necessary.

r = autorun
1 = autoattack (spam skill one)

But basicly the answer is no,left click or pressing 1 hardly makes any difference. Keep in mind that specially warrior are very powerfull. I’m currently leveling one with a good friend who’s playing ele. The ele has a good kick, but my warrior is superior in damageoutput.

Being on target and staying on target (as you are basicly suggesting) would mean at the current damageoutput the challenge would be gone.

I keep the middle finger on W, ring finger on A, and pointer finger on D. When I want to press 1, I move my ring finger from A to 1.

Well there is also no key that would make you char auto-explore zones, auto-doing hearts, auto-DE etc.

First thing, in higher zones you can’t just run into melee and stand like stake with autoattacking.
Second you don’t need to target in melee, except leap skills. Just run near enemy and push “1” or other skills. The enemy will be auto-selected.

And it will auto-select the one bad guy/thing you DIDN’T want to aggro…
