How do you create large groups of 8 in PVE? I know it is called squad but my guild can’t figure out how to create one. We all want to do the events and missions together. Thank you!

There’s really no way to create a fixed group larger than 5 in PvE. There are squads, but that’s not really the same thing.

First of all, to make a squad you need someone to be a Commander, which requires them to have purchased the Commander’s Compendium I think it’s called for 100 gold. After that, the character (the bonus is not account bound) who unlocked the compendium can designate himself as a Commander. At that point, he’ll get a special icon on the map and everyone in the zone will be able to see his location. From there anyone can invite themselves to his squad and there is no player limit on the squad. That means the squad likely won’t be exclusive to you guys and you might have random people join in.

If you want to roam around as a group, I’d recommend creating a small guild just for you guys. Then if you all represent the guild you will show up on each other’s maps as yellow dots and be able to talk in guild chat instead.
