Noob with some questions
Keyboard and mouse. Not sure if console-type controller is supported or not.
I have seen a few configurations allowing for an X-box 360 controller, but keyboard and mouse are far more common.

Yeah I don’t think I could comfortably play this game with a controller. I used to have a pc gaming controller that was similar in design to a PS2 controller but with more buttons that you could program. I imagine you could make it work for this game, but idk how efficient it would be. Afaik there’s no interface within the game to enable a controller so you’d have to use another program (or a programmable one like I had that you map the buttons to keyboard keys) to hotkey it all to the controller.

Thanks for the replies.I see where you can assign moves to buttons on the mouse so I will do that.Thanks.
the game is designed for playing with regular keyboard and mouse. other input devices are working as long as you find your own keybinding. as long as the key doesn’t run macro-functions (one key causes several actions). Macro’s aren’t allowed (although I do have a feeling that they can’t do much bout it).
I use a keyboard (logitech g510) and a razer naga. Though the mouse can be used to do everything, I prefer to use the mouse for camera and skills, and the keyboard for navigation and dodging.

You can use an xbox contoller and download the profile from xpadder for a fee mind you. Its alot easier ( for myself anyways!) to use a contoller for vists but other than that you would be better off using keyboard and mouse.
I started using a Logitech G13 gamepad a few years ago. Now I am so used to it that it would hard to return to keyboard/mouse usage. The problem is that it does not have enough buttons on a single configuration. Luckily, it has 3 configs. per profile that can be flipped on-the-fly.
Note: I use the mouse for turning/steering and sometimes targeting (not trying to start an argument, lol).
I use a keyboard and mouse.
I’ve recently set up my mouse (Logitech G400) so I can do basic game-play 1 handed when I need to (aka when I’m eating something), but I don’t think I’d ever go for a full game-pad or a controller.
I know some people do use both and I’ve even seen some mention of using joysticks.
