Guild Wars 2

I’m still refining my keybinds for a new Nostromo controller. I’m curious to know what works for others.

My current setup:

1 through 10 = 1 through 10
11 = TAB
12 = F
13 = M (Shift +M = I)
14 = SPACE
15 = Swap Weapon
16 = Shift

D-pad buttons:
I have Left set to W / forward:

e D e
W……S
q A q

because I find it more comfortable.

The scroll wheel is also set to Tab & Shift Tab.
I have dodge bound to Mouse 4.

I do have an alternate setup where 1-5 shifted = 6-0, but I find that a little more cumbersome. I’ve also tried binding keys 7 or 8 to W because I’m so used to using WASD for movement, but I’m trying to get more accustomed to using the D-pad and using the buttons for other abilities.

still trying to get used to mine, i could not stand using the dpad for movement,

and the original wasd meant i lost my 1-10buttons,

basically mine is a simpler setup.

1 – 1
2 – 2
3 – 3
4 – 4
5 – 5
6 – wep swap
10 – “F” loot talk
11 – ctrl
7/8/9/12/13/14 is my Q W E A S D
dPAD IS F1-2-3-4
button above dpad is jump
15 not used

razer naga mouse is used to just click 7/8/9/0 icons, since they have longer cooldowns usually it doesnt affect play much having to do that.
and has buttons for ventrilo/mumble and another button that does ctrl+alt

only thing i dislike about the nostromo, is map chat/guild chat suffers since it is a noticeable annoyance to jump from the nostromo back to the keyboard and then back. so if your on VOIP your golden, forget about dungeons/etc and trying to communicate via keyboard.

I use the Nostromo and RAZR Naga and love them! I don’t use the d-pad for movement

1 – tab
2 – dodge
3 – move forward
4 – call target
5 – ctrl ( to see gathering nodes)
6 – next target
7 – strafe left
8 – back
9 – strafe right
10 – F
11 – F1
12 – F2
13 – F3
14 – F4

Side buttons

1- 10 are skills 1 – 10

11 open map
12 open mail

Left Mouse – Left Mouse
Right Mouse – move camera
Scroll wheel – look behind
Mouse 4 – switch weapon
Mouse 5 – toggle town clothes

This set up is extremely efficient for me!

I’ve actually got a Nostromo on the way in the mail, should be in any day now…

I’m using a Naga so I have 12 buttons in use for the game already for my skills on my mouse, curious what you guys would suggest for the nostromo then

Thanks for responses. Moving with the D-pad is really a pain. Forward is the only easy movement, so I think I’ll make some changes.

I do like 10 = F. Seems so much more convenient there.

Something I experimented with for a different game profile was making 15 = switch keymaps. Not necessarily by cycling, but maybe keymap 1 switches it to 2, and on keymap 2 switching it back to 1. This way you can have Map, Inventory, etc on the alternate keymap.
