So say you know some people who have played the game for a really long time and they’re pretty well known in your server’s LA. And someone decides they’re going to start stalking these well known people – to the extent of finding out info on them irl and even going as far as to assume the identity of the people they’re stalking and now pretending to be them in your LA on a daily basis.

Is this considered harrassment by the ToS? And if so what can be done about it?

It’s frustrating to log in and see this person multiboxing three different characters, two of which are just well known people on my server, one of which is pretending to be Dulfy (which causes more problems considering the people that want to give Dulfy stuff for just being Dulfy). And this has been going on for a good two weeks now.

It’s mind-boggling that this person has kept it up for this long to be honest lol.

Anyway i’d love to know if you guys have a good way going about possibly fixing this? If it can even be fixed.

That sounds like something you should be contacting support to deal with.

I’m not sure Anet would have an established policy on it, simply because it’s something that’s unlikely to come up often. This might well be the first time.

If the person is actually pretending to be someone else (not just using a similar character name/character), which would be pretty clear from chat logs and things, I think it’s something they probably would take action on.
