Are there any tricks to where you need to jump from to get this? I have tried dozens of times and always die on the way down. This is the LAST Dive Spot I need for the achiev

This was a difficult dive mostly because it is a blind jump. You have to guess where the beams are so you can avoid them.
Suggest viewing YouTube vids to get a general idea of where you need to jump off the platform. Another suggestion is to place a personal waypoint in the pool to give yourself a reference point.

Compared to Dry Top it’s rather straightforward. If you stand on the center of the platform, goggles in front of you. The spot to jump is 90° to the left. Right where the blue laser beams start. Don’t jump, just drop down and steer a bit left at once. There is a plank below. If you passed that it’s only straight downwards.

Aside from getting help from double mesmers (mimic + portal, to help you get back up), there’s another trick you can try: follow the leader; find someone good at the dive and:

• Target the ‘expert’
• Have someone countdown from 3.
• Expert begins just before ‘go’; you start just after.
• Follow them down (if they go splat, stop following!)

I have tried this successfully (as follower and leader) for other dives, including dry top, silverwastes, VB, etc and it works surprisingly well (assuming the ‘expert’ knows the dive well).
