Its been a week or two now since I started to work for full map completion and finally I got to it. However I have not received the Gifts of Exploration. On my map for the entire world it says 100% with each and every vista/WP/POI/Quest discovered. Yes I went to the Chantry of Secrets and still nothing. Then I read up somewhere that I needed every zone discovered meaning the small named places on the maps. I got all the explorer achievements (Orr, Kryta , etc). Finished all of that and still nothing. I even went back to the Chantry of secrets yet again but still no luck with receiving my gifts. Anyone know a solution? Or this something where I need to email to support and they find me a solution???

you should only need all the stuff for map completion, not the zones. So I’d visit the Chantry one last time, and then email support (maybe go to LA also)

Also check if you have opened the Map Completion chests in every map. If you haven’t you will not get the Gift of Exploration from what I’ve heard.

So should I just port around from map to map to check for map completion chests? Cause I thought they all just stayed above your minimap till you open them.

I don’t know if this will effect it. But two new POIs were added to Kessick Hills (sp?) with the latest LS patch.

Even if you already have that maps completion, I don’t know if it will effect world completion, but if you haven’t gotten them, it’s worth checking.

Just noticed that you said you have max SP, POIs, etc. So there went my idea.

Edit: If I remember, I did get my world completion chest at the same time as the last map completion chest.

Have you finished all the WvW zones? They’re required for world completion as well, and I don’t see them specifically mentioned in this thread yet. Pretty easy thing to overlook if you’re just looking at the map of Tyria, since they’re not strictly on Tyria.

Yes I got the entire completion of the WvW maps as they are included in the overall count on for the Entire Map

I completed the map a couple of days ago. I received the Gifts of Exploration, but not the title. I put in a ticket and have been advised to visit all the map areas again. I haven’t yet had time to login and do so, to see if that works.

Perhaps it’s worth trying in relation to the gifts too?

An update in regards to my situation:

As advised by support, I revisited the areas required for completion. In Kessex Hills there are 2 POIs related to the Tower of Nightmares and one POI in Gendarren Fields, all three were added after I completed those areas.

Whilst I received the rewards for the original map completion requirement, I had to get those three POIs before I could trigger the title.

just a thought?? (and if so this is a serious bug). Did you complete the tower of nightmares arching story and got the obelisk in your home instance. This is actually a skillchallenge.

If needed and if your on a EU server, feel free to give me a pm. We can party up and guest to eachothers server. I can then let you in my home instance to get that skillchallenge.

I have also heard that revisiting the Dead End POI in Divinity’s Reach fixed the problem with fully completing map exploration.
