Hi,

Just want to warn anyone who uses Nvidia cards in SLI with the latest Geforce 314.07 drivers.

When booting Guild Wars 2 (not the launcher) the Drivers stops working and you get a black screen or bluescreen if the drivers doesnt reset.

This problem with occured with my GTX 580’s in SLI, and hot fixed by going to an earlier driver such as 310.90

With some google search you can find more reports about this problem.

Note this only happens with SLI activated with the new drivers so you may just deactivate your SLI when playing Guild Wars 2 until it gets fixed.

Thanks for this information. I was getting ready to update my nVidia drivers tomorrow…but will wait until I hear back from nVidia support about this issue.

My current drivers work just fine so I am in no hurry to change them.

I’m running 314.07 on dual 670’s in SLI with no issue with GW2.

I did run into some general problems not related to any game when i initially installed this version, but after a performing fully clean install of 314.07, its been smooth sailing.

The last time I updated my drivers, I had problems for about 10 days before contacting nVidia help. The technician walked me through the clean install process but before I could do that, he said I needed to have my own technician do a diagnostic to make sure my registry was not clogged up and to remove all my old drivers.

Good advice so I shall just contact my technician to make sure I have no problems hanging.

I am running 314.07 on my system with zero problems. I have been using these drivers for weeks. I have two GTX570 running in SLI mode.

To help with your problem, I just checked NVIDIA’s site and they released 314.22 today. So you might try those.

I just received my second GTX680 back from EVGA RMA. I’ve tested each card alone on GW2. There are no issues, but when I put them in SLI. I crashed black screen after login into the game.

I am using 314.22 or 314.07, both the same problem.

Are you guys on Windows 8?
