Soo…another one of these threads…
I have about 400k karma which is just enough to buy the rest of the Obsidian Shards I need. Unfortunately, since NOBODY does temples anymore -.- It’s always contested. For the past WEEK I have been tryin to get in, and it’s never, ever, EVER been uncontested. I know lorewise Obi shards can only be found in Balth. Cant they put the vendor elsewherw?

shards are all over the place now. Easiest I know is drops from silverwastes, can also buy them 1 for 50 or 5 for 250 bandit crests.
I must be lucky though any time I visit the Balth temple it is either open or in the process of being taken back.

Check out the LFG. I see it advertised there all the time.

But yeah Silverwastes is a decent spot for those. Just got 10 today from the VW chest.

Silverwastes, you will get decent karma which will help, chests and bosses will drop them, and you can buy them with crests you get.

Orrian boxs are cool, but due to rng, its not as cost effective kitten or the temple.

Sorry, but I passed thru Straits 3 times this weekend and he Temple was opened each time. A far as I can tell, SOMEONE is still doing the Balth Temple run rather regularly.

I couldn’t take more than an hour to gather up enough players and take the place (and you have the karma to buy the Shards). Getting that many shards in SW or Jewelry Boxes is going to take a lot longer (I would think). Unless you have a ton of Bandit Badges already saved up….then SW.

EDIT: was in Straits again last night and Temple was opened….(bought a few Shards myself).
