I will probably figure this out before anyone replies, but how do you get leather ? There is no skinning knife and dead animals don’t have a skin option.

You use a salvage kit on hides or medium armor. Some mobs, like bandits, also drop them.

Some animals sometimes do drop hides that need salvaging to become leather too.

Kill animals.

Kill creatures that drop bags that you can open.

Salvage medium armor.

Buy cheap from the TP.
