I live in Australia and I’m trying to reduce my ping while playing. I’ve disabled Nagles Algorithm already (at least I hope I did, didn’t notice any difference after reboot).

Tried both Battleping & Pingzapper but the ping doesn’t change. When I restart the tunneling service while playing I get disconnected so I know I’ve at least set it up correctly. Anyone know why my ping stays the same? I’ve tried multiple different servers on with both these services with no difference.

I check my ping in the resource monitor, though there are 3 different processes shown in the TCP connections section so I’m unsure which is which, though I assume the top (highest) is the relevant ping.

Reason why your latency hasnt changed mabey due to the service type your using?, as in it takes just as much time if not more to travel from point A to B, im not sure as im not very well versed on the technical side of this.

I have grown concered over the latency increase over last few weeks, I live in Perth Australia and I used to sit around 250-300 Latency, now its at 490 consistent, no idea why, but pvp and wvw is near to unplayable for me at this point.

I live in the UK an when i was using battleping (around launch) i found that when picking battleping servers close to me in the UK i had worse ping than when selecting servers closer to the gw2 servers (EU = Germany).

Anyway, i always feel for the gamer’s in Australia, what with the laws and lag…its just not cricket

Is it possible that the resource manager is now showing relevant game traffic under the tunneling service’s application?
