Why, you just add him to your friends list and see when he’s online. If he’s not, don’t whsiper.

I’m in NA. If he’s in EU, why would I bother?

You have to be on the same region (either EU or NA) in order to actually be able to play together.

In WvW you have to be on the same region (EU or NA) AND the same server or group of servers to play together. In PvE and PvP you just have to be on the same region.

Sorry to keep derailing your thread, OP. I hope anyone who needs help sees your kind offer and takes you up on it.
