…how do you go about figuring out what the PvE equivalent of those pieces are (if any) and what level they are and where to obtain them?

GW2 Wiki will eventually put armor galleries up, like GW Wiki has, but for now, gw2armor is the best site I’ve found.

Well that’s frustrating. One of the pieces is a Vigil piece, which I’m assuming I can’t where if I picked Whispers?

Correct. You need to be of an order to wear its armor.

i believe you can use some transmutation tricks via alts to get order armor on any character you want, but dont quote me on it

In the mists there’s a locker. Past the guy who “sells” weapons.

@OP – like apple mentioned, there is a supposed trick. you would first need a character to join or already be part of the other orders, in your case, Vigil order. then purcahse desired armour piece, use a transmutation stone and transfer the look of onto a white or blue piece of gear (since whites/blues can not be soulbound). so after transmutation, it will still say “Soulbound” but is in fact “account bound” now. so you can put it in the bank, and your other character can pick it up. again, i’ve never tried this myself, but this is how you’d go about getting other orders armours for your character (note: this doesn’t work for cultural armour)

@ Seras – it’s awesome. : ))) i go there to plan out what kind of armour / look i want to go for. or just for fun. haha so if u go into the Heart of MIsts, just turn… right and you’ll see three cabinet / closet thingys.
