Just wondering are there any other ways to make gold in open world as I’ve done map completion and the only ways to make money I can think of its gathering but that gets boring fast and random events award hardly a smell of coin

Silverwastes offers some decent earning potential. There was a video in a thread recently that outlined how to do the events and join Bandit Chest farming groups.

I still didn’t get it after reading that thread. I have a shovel stack in my inventory and have kept an eye on chat and have tried to clear the whole zone to know what and where everything is, but I still tend to log on in that zone and after few minutes or an attempt to go do stuff there I just load up into Eternal battlegrounds again. I’ll keep at it though, but I think I’ve lost money in that place, just have to get in where you fit in I suppose.

World boss train will get you some gold too. Your garentied one rare from each once a day. Check the trading post. If it sells for more then 40 silver sell it otherwise salvage it hoping to get ectos to sell.

Chest trains for SW are generally found in the LFG section in the first space. You can get taxied in via those parties.
