Opinions Needed, Guild Help.
If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re weighing on the value of the guild’s existing upgrades. If you are planning on running a guild, its better purge the existing roster and raise it as a new guild then it is to start a new one. Unless you think the guild name is the reason no one wants to join…. then thats kind of a no brainer. – unless you have extremely high research levels.
you could send every person you kick a mail why they were kicked and to reply if they want to be invited back when they return.
Hey! Good tips. Yeah, it’s not about the Guild name being the issue other than it just feels kind of the past? Like it was an original idea of friends who are no longer playing? I am not recruiting so I can’t say that’s why nobody is joining, lol.
Yeah, the mail thing is a good idea and the only reason I am on the fence about scrapping and starting a new guild is the fact that this guild has had research progression to about rank 5 or 6 across the board.
Thanks for the feedback!

You can always keep this old guild as a personal bank one
Welcome back!
Here are my recommendations about your guild:
Don’t scrap your existing guild, regardless. At worst, it can be your personal bank or a gift to a friend who needs one.
Take the time to try out other guilds. You can maintain your guild and rep something else (or even up to 4 other guilds). Take a month or three to experience the game differently.
After doing that, you’ll have a better idea of what you want from a guild, from the game, and how much you want to contribute to each. You might decide that you found a home in one of your try-it-out guilds. You might find you aren’t satisfied and you want to start over again. Or you might realize you know exactly how to rebuild your original guild.
tl;dr now is a perfect opportunity to see how the rest of the world lives. Your original guild structure is there if/when you need it.

Thanks for all the responses to everyone. I have a pretty good idea of the type of guild I want to be a part of, I just don’t know if that really exists. I have been prospecting other guilds. The problem is, I just get annoyed unless I am running it myself because while many guilds seem to fit the mold they don’t really quite stand up in the end.
It’s just hard finding a guild that I like… >.<
You can friend all the people you kick and put a nickname on them, such as ex guildies, as well as sending them an email at kick. That way there is a chance you’ll see them if they log on and you’ll remember why you friended them. Also, you can check the leaderboards periodically. If you click on their Achievements number it will give a last date that they earned an Achievement point, not exactly the last logon date but close.

ANet may give it to you.
