I’m wondering what the best time of day would be for me to play landscape content with other players.
I’m on an American server, so I assumed it would be when the East and West coasts get off work. But someone told me that my server (Sea of Sorrows) is actually mostly populated by Oceanic players. Hence, the population spikes around 6:00AM in my time zone.
How do I find out what time of day I should play, and what servers I should guest on to play landscape content with other players?

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by “landscape content”? Open world exploring, WvW, world bosses, dungeons/fractals or something else?

For general PvE, world bosses are usually run right after the daily reset (midnight UTC, 8PM EST). Jade Quarry (my server) and Tarnished Coast are great for doing anything PvE related as they have large PvE populations. Since most people at this point run world bosses, dungeons/fractals, etc., finding groups for open world exploration and such would probably be best within a guild. Find one if you don’t have one

By “landscape content” I mean the ordinary events that you do while leveling through a region. As an example: I’m questing through the Tarnished Coast region right now. It’s almost entirely group content but there is no-one around to play with.

Most people call this open-world PvE, or just PvE (although that can also include dungeons, Personal Story instances and some other stuff). I’m not sure if that name is unique to GW2 or if it’s used in a lot of games but it’s definitely the most commonly used in this forum.

Anyway, the best time to do it is during the servers peak time. When that is varies depending on the server because different ones are used by different groups. I’m on an EU server so I’m not sure how it works for the US ones but hopefully someone else will know.

The best time to get events done is most likely prime time right after dailies reset. If you’re outside of Queensdale or any other areas with a good events circuit I make no promises though.
